FLOAT SHOE

The COMPLETION OIL TOOLS® Float Shoe is designed with a rounded nose profile and is installed at the bottom of the casing string to facilitate smooth casing running operations.

It incorporates a high-performance Non-Return Valve (NRV) that prevents reverse fluid flow, ensuring effective cementing and maintaining well integrity.

The rounded profile helps guide the casing toward the center of the wellbore, reducing the risk of impact against ledges, formations and obstructions.

Engineered for demanding downhole conditions, the Float Shoe is capable of withstanding back pressures up to 5,000 psi.

By providing controlled or partial fill-up during casing deployment, the Float Shoe reduces hook load and allows the casing string to be floated into position, improving running efficiency and operational safety.

FLOAT COLLAR

The COMPLETION OIL TOOLS® Float Collar is designed to maintain a constant fluid level inside the casing string during running operations.

By allowing fluid to enter through the bottom of the casing, the Float Collar helps maintain a controlled differential pressure between the inside and outside of the casing.

The system incorporates a spring-loaded fill-up valve that automatically regulates fluid entry into the casing.

When the hydrostatic pressure outside the casing exceeds the preset spring tension, the valve opens and allows fluid to enter.

As the internal casing pressure increases and, together with the spring force, becomes greater than the external hydrostatic pressure, the valve automatically closes to prevent uncontrolled flow and maintain operational efficiency.
